    8.0 HF2

When I try to do a scripted install, whether via boot disk or booting to automation, about half the time, it fails with this error:

    PectAgent.log

In case this is relevant, the NS's name is dept-deploy, with a FQDN of dept-deploy.dept.example.edu, however, I have a DNS entry to let us reach it at deploy.dept.example.edu. The TS/PS is dept-deployss.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!

Looks like your NSE is getting corrupted somehow, try capturing them in a "Bad" folder:

"How do I get the Bad NSE folders to collect bad NSEs for review again?"

To enable the capture of these NSE files the Registry String Value "EventFailureBackupFolder" needs to be added to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Altiris\eXpress\Notification Server". The string value should be the folder you want the "bad" NSE to be stored in.

The change may take a few minutes to be applied. To apply the changes faster, restart the Altris Service."
