Handling licenses and Excluded group in PGP Universal Server

Created: 28 Mar 2013 | 3 comments

I have PGP Universal server with PGP desktop 10.2.1.  I am trying to figure out the best way to move users to the "Excluded" group as they leave the company and are deleted from AD.   I am not an AD expert or even generalist.  Anyone have the best ideas for handling this.  I have tried a variety of "! memberOf" filters, but it does not seem to work.  Maybe I have the wrong criteria or wrong something.   Anyone done this (I assume many have) and what worked for you.

Thanks.

You're trying to do the matching consumers?  So memberOf on the attribute, then the DN of the OU they're in, and make sure regular expression is ticked - that should work.  Unless you're trying to add more criteria in there?

I am trying to determine when someone has left AD and then add them into the Excluded group.  In other words, they are part of the excluded group only when they are non longer listed in Active Directory or at least not part of a larger all employee OU.  I would prefer if no longer part of AD if possible.

so you're trying to do NOT a memberOf using the !

There should be no space between the ! and the memberOf so !memberOf etc etc
