Can anybody confirm if Norton Ghost (2002) supports a Windows 64bit operating system. Can you also confirm if this version allows back up using a usb remote back up drive for reinstalling to a new replacement c:hard disk drive. The existing hard drive can not be repaird but is still working at the moment. I need to know if this version of Ghost will allow me to back up and restore the complete hard drive as I don't want to address the damage drive more than necessay trying things out. the drive size is 700 GB. Thanks for any help

Actually, this forum does not support Norton Ghost. The link to the Norton Ghost community can be found in a sticky posting at the top of this forum.  A product released in 2002 is not going to offer 64 bit support, or USB support natively.  You may want to check out Paragon Partition Manager which is based around WinPE and can do all the things you have mentioned.  I assume the hard disk is SATA which again is going to require something like WinPE to support the necessary drivers to access the HD for imaging.
