Client Management Suite

I have a server, and I've seen this issue before, where the hardware inventory starts as it should, but it never finishes running.  It runs for the 6 hour period of time and then stops.  It does not seem to bother the system that it is happening on, but the hardware inventory is not returning the serial number for the machine and I need it to.  How do I determine what is causing the Hardware Inventory to hang so that I can fix this issue?

aexmachinv.exe /ini MachInvAdm.ini
aexcustinv.exe /in .\AeXCustInvStd.cit /out AeXCustInvStd.nsi
aexsnplus.exe /output xml

It's probably aexsnplus.

I tried seperating them and running them individually and it is definitely the aexsnplus.exe that is causing the issue.  How do I now determine why that is not completing? 

AeXInvSoln.exe /hidden /s AeXInvSolnAdm1.ini is the right one for Hardware inventory.

There's a section in there on the v6 AeXSNPlus executable and it's command line arguments. Trying different ones may help.

Usually this is due to the machinv hanging, and you can fix it by adding /norbin switch. The /nowbemifsnfound switch) Also try /nosndata16 (think that's it) if this is a 64bit server.
