This issue has been solved. See solution.

I installed the workflows for asset management and am having an issue with the hardware request workflow. Below is the error that I am getting within the server's event log. The end user just receives a symantec generated screen that states an error occurred. Any ideas?

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Workflow?

I know Asset Management installs these workflows, but this may get a better response in the Workflow forum.  I'm going to shift that over there.

Figured it out

You have to have a hardware catalog and locations assigned before this particular workflow will work. Everything is working now.
