You answer your question -

You answer your question  by yourself - Officialy it's not supported but you can try to find workarounds or upgrade CentOS

 What version of CentOS

What version of CentOS matches the corresponding Redhat version?  If that is listed, it *may* as a workaround

There is an online portal, save yourself the long hold times. Create ticket online, then call in with ticket # in hand :-) http://mysupport.symantec.com "We backup data to restore, we don't backup data just to back it up."

1. Create folder

1. Create folder /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/bpcd on client side
2. Try to connect from to bpcd port from master server. (telnet client_host_name bpcd)
3. Check log file inside /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/bpcd
4. Chech xinetd/inetd configuration, insure that you have a record for bpcd
