Can anyone help me with this issue?  I cannot seem to get my vista business to connect to my domain on windows server 2003, comes up with a dns error.  What steps would I have to take to get it to connect with the domain.

Thanks,

Shawn.

LMHOSTS

I'm guessing that you don't have the domain listed in your lmhosts file?

Either that, or when entering the domain name, use the fully qualified domain name

I've found that doing the following can help (from a command line):

arp -d
ipconfig /flushdns
nbtstat -R
nbtstat -RR

ping the domain controller
ping the dns server (if different)

try again
