Endpoint Protection

I having problem whenever i open outlook it says "c:\program files\symantec antivirus\vpmsece.dll couldn't be found or loaded".

And i reinstalled office it goes fine.But it happens on every endpoint client.any better solution ?

Traffic from 192.168.1.0 is blocked 

I doubt trojan has infected on that IP 192.168.1.0

or could be infected on the PC which is showing that message ?

Check for any virus infection in 192.168.1.0.Assure that there is no open shares in both the PCS.Also assure that it is having all latest patches installed(KB 958644 is most important I believe) 

i having problem on my computer as screen shot .it says protection is off even though i tried update from server and by clicking fix .not able to fix yet.anyway to put the Protective threat protection back ON from client side or can be done from server side only

PTP will be off if it is a sever os or 64 bit os.This is by design.

If this is not the case go to start-->run type luall and click ok>this will lunch live update.Run it and try..

If not helps reinstall PTP.You can do it as follows

GO to add/remove programs

Select SEP,click on change--->next-->modify-->next,Here select this feature not available by clicking on the small box neat PTP.keep on click next until it finishes.Follow above steps once again and select this feature and sub features available for installing it back...

I tried doesn't work still off.I couldn't run "luall" as well. PTP is fine and running on other clients even on 64 bits window 7 that client is window xp (32bit).

Also assure that UAC is disabled in the client...

you wont have UAC in windows xp...

check windows firewall and also the msi installer service should be started on that machine

try running the setup manually on that box; that should work

make sure you are pushing out the 32/64 packages respectively.

I have disable simple file sharing already.still doesn't work .

same error "failed remote installing" deploying on client

check the computer browser service on the remote machine

did you try running it manually on the box? copy the setup file and run it manually , do u get any error msg?

Have you tried to delete the extend.dat file? I have seen this before. If I remember correctly, this how we fixed it. Do a Windows search for extend.dat.
