Please indicate the exact version of Ghost solution suite you are using. You need 11.5.1.2266 for full Windows 7 support.

If you are using Sysprep, it will remove license information. If you image to a different machine, Windows 7 will also detect this.

your volume license is an MAK with lots of uses, or is it a KMS server?  If it is KMS the machine usually needs to be in the domain to see it without running the SLMGR script

You are unable to validate Windows Vista or Windows 7 with your Key Management Server (KMS) computer due to duplicate Client Machine IDs (CMID)

Method 1: Using Sysprep answer file from console

    profile.
From the Ghost Console when you create the image and perform Sysprep

Step 2: Browse the machine and also browse where to save the image under clone tab
Step 3: Under sysprep tab put a check on use sysprep and also it will ask you for the answer file for
    sysprep
Step 4: If you already have set up the answer file using WAIK then browse the .xml file else u can
    customise the answer file

Note: Make sure that you dont leave any feilds blank on answer file

Method 2: Manual method of performing Sysprep

How to prevent Microsoft Sysprep from disabling the local administrator account on Windows 7

Step 1: Create a Image before performing the Sysprep manual to avoid failure on master machine
Step 2: Once you have a back up copy  goto Local disc C:\ windows\System32\Sysprep.exe
Step 3: You will have a System preparation tool and itUse OOBE(Out of box experience)
Step 4: On the shut down option use shutdown and Check skip rearm
