Headlines missing from replies

All the headlines seem to have gone from the post replies. This makes many of my replies meaningless, for example my last comment here:

I can see how you might want to omit them from new replies but can they be reinstated for existing ones?

Well that's two of us that've been affected by this, but we must be the only ones. Have gone through the odd post every now & again & re-instated the subject line comments, but .....

No, it's been done on purpose as most post headlines just repeated the original thread title.
