i keep geeting the following message since i upgraded to Lion OS. "Symantec Antivirus Repair Alert. infected files were found inside compressed archives (use view history in SAV for more information) they could not be repaired"

i need help on how to get rid of this.

FInd out where the compressed files are located by viewing the logs and delete them. They are probably sitting in a ZIP or RAR file and SAV cannot delete them.
