Help with Change Management Comments

In change management we are getting multiple comments into the changes that are system generated. We would not like this to continue, and would like to know how we can remove those items from generating so much spam within an rfc. Any help on this would be much appreciated

You will need to modify the Change Management workflow projects and remove the process history components that are responsible for generating the messages you don't want generated.

Hi TGiles,

Would removing the components help, because if we remove them they wont generate any of the process history messages. However, issue here seems to be generating duplicate entries.

Hope my understanding is correct.

We just want to stop the duplicate entries that are getting created.

The duplicate entries in question are User Activity entries that are automatically generated by the system when a user views the process or task for the process.

This functionality can't be disabled, but you can modify the filters for the History web part to hide 'User Activity' entries.

Thanks for the reply.
I agree the entries are User Activities, so if a user checks a task for 2 times it should generate just 2 entries and if it is once it will generate only 1. However, if you refer the attached screenshot, it has generated 7-8 entries for each time a user views the task.
We would want to stop these duplicate entries to be generated and should display / generate single entry every time a user views a task.
Yes, we may modify the filters in the History however, that will not display any User Activities.
