I have to help make a software license Compliance report for a customer.

I have all their scanning results and now have to identify each single string found (scans from "Add/remove programs".

I have a list of Altiris exe files and have already spent hours trying to look up each single altiris string on the internet. It is hopeless. It is very diffifult to find licensing conditions. What I need is simply to know whether the exe is: Commercielt (i.e. must have a license) or Bundled (i.e. is covered by the main product license-wise). So "C" or "B"

Is there anybody out there that can help me? Please?

Altiris Console

Even if you only have the solution for one or two, I'll be very grateful for your feed back.

I am going to move this thread to the Altiris forum for better visibility.

In the case of Altiris, all licensing is enforced on the server so even if you were over-installed for your licenses, Altiris would be enforcing it on the server-side.

i.e. if you have 200 PC's with the agent and inventory solution installed but only own 100 licenses, Altiris will not keep inventory information on the other 100 computers.

I'm not clear on what you're trying to accomplish here.  Most (if not all) of the Altiris product licensing is controlled from within the Altiris console, or no license is required at all (i.e. the ASDK entries in your list above).  The license status can be viewed (in the NS6 console at least) on the Configuration tab under Licensing.  All installed products, the total available licenses and in use licenses will be listed.
