Hi everyone,

I'm sorry if this seems like a double post, but I can't be sure. I'm not a computer expert and I tried checking here for a post similar to my own issues but some had technical jargon I'm not familiar with and thus I'm not sure applies to me. I'm getting frustrated, because I called Symantec customer service and my gosh... I've been on hold for over 4 hours waiting for a representative...

I need to update my definitions, because of the errors in auto update which always said "product has been updated," I may have malware on my computer because I don't know how long this has been going on. These are the messages I received when I tried to manually update: "LU1825, LU1806."

I tried to get into the online chat for Symantec and to schedule a call back which won't allow me to arrange a call back. Please can someone help me?!

I tried the suggestions on the main site for Symantec, hours later I'm now getting, "LU1825: This update failed because it tried to run an application that did not exist.  The application file should have been part of the update that was downloaded.  You should try getting this update again the next time you run LiveUpdate."

 What antivirus are you using

What antivirus are you using norton ,Symantec antivirus or Endpoint protection ?
Anyways what i would suggest is
Un-install the software from add/remove programs.
Download Malwarebytes free version and run a full scan on your computer. Once everything is clean then install the Symantec antivirus back on the computer.
