Help Removing Trojan.Fakeavalert and W32.Sober.AA@mm

Hello,

I have a computer infected with Trojan.Fakeavalert and W32.Sober.AA@mm and have followed the removal instructions (disable system restore, update virus defs, ran the tool, full scan in safe mode, checked for the registry entries in the Run key, checked the hosts file) but they keep showing back up.

I am running Symantec AntiVirus v10.1.5.5000 and sometimes the Antivirus window doesn't want to open...

When I reboot I get the message "Symantec Antivirus could not complete remediation tasks". Any ideas?

Thanks,

Mike
