Helpdesk Email Template WORKITEM (worktitem_comment)
Hello everyone,
I would like to know if it is possible to just only display the simple comment (and also only the first 2 lines) in an email template.
I don't want to display the "system messages" Just the text from the users or workers..
So I want to get rid of this:
These changes were made:
Assigned to name changed
From: xxx
To: John Dough
Urgency changed
From: Not selected
To: Low
I want to display only the first 2 lines of the
(real) not from the system generated comment(s) from the workers and users.

Is this possible?

not sure if this is it or not
but I found this one day poking around. Go to Configuration, Server Settings, Notification Server Settings and Incident Settings.
Towards the bottom there is a checkbox for Include incident change log with every incident comment.
Uncking that box may do the trick.
Try it and let me know if it works! Good luck!

Insert this in your comments section of your email template:
WORKITEM(workitem_email_message)
instead of WORKITEM(workitem_comment)
not sure if this is it or not
Just an FYI...
Unchecking the box to "Include incident change log with every incident comment" will stop adding in the information for the history of an incident. For example, it won't list what each worker does in every incident, ie: Change the Tile, Assign the Incident....etc.
