HelpDesk Ticket creation - Session Time out

We are on Help Desk version 6.0.308 and have users that work on creating tickets and keep them open for over 30 minutes before submitting. They then get a Session Time out error and have to start all over again. Is there any idea's out there on what I can look at to not have the system time out on them? Is this a Database setting or a system setting?
