Hide The Remote Control Icon

Is there a way to hide the Icon when using the Remote control in DS? I have the AClient Icon set to be hidden but when I remote control a machine the icon appears. I find that you can remote control just to see what is going on and if you do not touch the mouse they can do what they are doing. Working in a high school it is sometimes nice to be able to visually see what kids are doing when you detect suspicious activity. Oh and to be able to capture a screen shot of them doing it is even better.

No.

This question has gone around for years. There is no way to hide the remote control icon through DS. There are some 3rd party utilities that will hide tray icons for you but off the top of my head I can't think of them right now.
I presonally use VNC to remote control student computers when I don't want them to know I'm watching them.
