Personally never seen this issue before.  Is your environment EV8.0?  I have only seen the event which says "The Exchange mailbox provisioning task found enabled mailboxes that are not part of a provisioning group."  as per this article;

I have empty OU's in my windows 2003 AD and I don't get those events, and have never seen them.  I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has this issue on here?

We're running EV7.5 sp5.  below is from event viewer.  i'm thinking of calling support to see what they say.  If i get an answer, i'll post it
