    Hello,

sometimes it happens that client computers cpu goes up to 100% usuage.

In this case 2 processes are found.

Ccsvchst.exe - from Endpoint Protection V12.1 and Wfice32.exe from the Citrix online plugin in Version 12.1

i found the problem 3 times on my PC.

but now i have client PC - the user connects to the Citrix farm and starts excel.

the Endpoint Client is only installed on the PC !

after starting a special Excel file the CPU goes up to 100 %

the excel file is OK - i can open it without problems

i don't have the problem with Antivirus Corporate Edition V10.1.9.9000

How can i find the problem ?

It is recommended to exclude the wfica32.exe from scanning ?

under the AV policy there is one option to scan only when File is Modified; I think its check to Scan when File is accessed; I assume this might be a huge excel file; You can try changing this setting.

You can try excluding it as its genuine; check if that stabalizes the CPU

For whatever it's worth, we do not see this problem with 12.1 of Citrix client and 12.1 of Symantec.   We have client side caching enabled throught the Citrix WI settings, and a mix of ICA and CGP depending on the remote workstation.   We use XenApp and XenDesktop.   We are not using the VPN features.

Same here, have not seen any issues thus far.
