This issue has been solved. See solution.
Hi All,
I have a query, Today found a server in which CPU utilization was high upto 95%.
When checked on the server, found many BPBKAR process were running there. That was obvious because backup for that server running,
Is there a way we can minimize CPU utilization while "BPBKAR" process and backup keep running ? Means without affecting backup, can we make CPU utilization normal.
Please advice and suggest...

Were those multiple bpbkar processes doing anything or hung? What was the backup backing up (size, type of files etc)
There are no options I know of to 'nice' the bpbkar process as such.
How many bpbkar processes?
How many backup jobs/streams in activity monitor?
You should see one bpbkar process for each stream that is running.
If clint is battling to run multiple simultaneous jobs, you can limit max concurrent jobs for this client by adding client name in Host Properties -> Master -> Client Attributes.
Add/select client name, then select Maximum data streams tick-box and type in max number of jobs that client can run.
This will override the global setting in master's Global properties.
Supporting Storage Foundation and VCS on Unix and Windows as well as NetBackup on Unix and Windows

Hi Netbackup_user,
Since all bpbkar processes came from the same policy, I'd say just set the limit jobs per policy attribute on your policy setting.
Cheers.
Now backup are running well, the issue seems to be with large number of jobs at a time.
After changing job limits, now no such issue occured again.
Thanks all for their great input and suggestion. :-)
