Our HII script works fine with all our hardware models except the DC7900.

Once the image is deployed, the script runs FIRM to copy over the drivers from the server to the desktop.

In our drivers folder we have a section for the Video card drivers and one of the files which are necessary is longer than 8 charachters.

Obviously this is a DOS limitation, so when it copies the file over, its renamed incorrectly and when the pc boots up to install the video driver, it cant find the required driver/file and fails.

Its the Intel driver for the DC7900, and on HP's website they have long file names too.



Anyone come across this before?
