Holiday Exceptions cause the night before holiday jobs not to complete

I am running Backup Exec 2012 with all the available updates on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard and anytime a holiday occurs on a weekday and I have set an exception, the jobs that begin normally at 8 pm the day prior to the holiday end up being canceled when they run past midnight with the message "The job was automatically canceled because it exceeded the job's maximum configured run time"  And in the case of multiple jobs being run, they are all in the queue before midnight.  For example, Thursday was Thanksgiving, so any job that began on Wednesday night and would run into Thursday morning was "canceled".

Any assistance would be appreciated!!!!

I believe that is issue we are looking to address in a future BE version. We did have some feedback that the way holiday exclusions worked in older versions was not exactly what customers wanted and unfortunately whilst attempting to enhance the date exclusion ability we introduced vacation handling that is also not an ideal setup.

So I guess my only option is to not make exclusions for Holidays and let the job on the holiday just time out (cancel) on not finding a tape?
