Home Tab - Endpoint Status issues

Hi All,

In the Home Tab of My Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager 12.1 RU3 I see a huge number of offline clients. upon further research I found that the number is monthly ant for only 12hrs.

Request assistance in Explaining "Endpoint Status" part of Home Tab / if there are any settings I can configure this part of Home Tab from some where

that status in only 12/24 hours only

You can change it under preference tab

if you want to create report, then go to monitors - logs - computer status-

click on advanced blue tab . then click on offile  and date range.

what changes do you want to see.

default it's 12 hrs or you can set it for 24 hrs.

Hi Rafeeq / Pete,

Thank you for you advice.

When I See Home Tab on my SEP manager console I see 1932 clients offline.

At the same time when I go to Reports and Pull a Quick Report (Computer Status -> Client Online Status) for past 24 hrs I see 253 clients offline.

And When I pull the same report in Past Month it shows me correctly 1932 clients.

This Indicates that the Data which is under "Home Tab -> Endpoint Status -> Offline" is of a month not of 24hrs / 12hrs.

Need to know if there is something wrong with SEPM / Settings


It is working as Designed? If Yes, Please help me with the documents related to the same.

Hi Dilip,

whats the Date format you have set ? 

I'm pretty sure that its 12/24 hr format. HAve you tried re-building the index under admin -servers -local host tab?

Are the clients are really offline?

Is any communication issue between SEPM and clients?
