Hi Guys,

I need help in creating the below Host Integrity requirements.

1. if the clients are having definitions out of date for one week. it should not get connected to network

2. If the clients is not having symantec lcient installed, it should install automatically.

How to create polcies for the aboe conditions

Iam reading that article only, in that they mentioned to create one firewall rule to quarantine the clients to block the traffic. and again they mentioned as they can create Quarantine live update policy.

Iam having confusion in that my requirement is it should connect in network and should update definitions. How to perform that activity

By default (or even if you create a firewall rule to do so), the SEP firewall will not block it's SEP client's communication with its SEPM. So, even if you block all traffic by moving the client to Quarantine zone, the SEP client will still communicate to SEPM and will be able to get the updates.
