  • 1.  How to add client install package in SEPM 12.1

    Hi,

    I need to add cilent install package in SEPM 12.1, after exporting the file when I am trying to add install package an error " You cannot add this client install package becuase the package contain single .exe file. The sylink.xml file is missing or corrupted in this package."

    Package I want in 12.1.4 32bit.

    And do I need to upgrade SEPM to 12.1.4 or client install package is enough?

    Select the .info file associated with the installation package (i.e. SAV32.info, SAV64.info)

    Ideally, you should have both SEPM and clients on the same version to ensure best compatability. I would suggest going this route but in a pinch you can import the later client package.

    Best recommend is to upgrade the both client or SEPM in latest version

    Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.4.1a is now available

    If you not be able to upgrade your SEPM then add the client package in SEPM.
