How to apply backup policy to computers

OK, I have been following the manual and so far everything seems to be working and making sense!  I am now at the point of creating the backup job and applying it to a test server.....

I create a new policy - standard C Drive backup to a destination I created but when I come to the 'Applied To'  it all falls apart!
I click the Apply To dropdown, select Computers, then click the update results button - at this point it lists the 2 machines with BESR 2010 on them - the manager and the test server. So...... I click Add Rule, then click 'exclude computers not in' click the filter dropdown and select 'computer list' and in the list of machines I select the besr2010 client server.  If I now click the Update Results button I can see the server I want is now in the 'computers currently matching rules' section and next to the OK button at the bottom right I can see it says 1 computers selected. I click OK......  But the screen it takes me to - the policy screen, same one as before - it still shows in the 'applied to' section, no machines???

How do I add a machine to have the policy applied to it?

Figured it out..... It seems

Figured it out..... It seems that when you apply the policy to a computer it does not update the GUI. If you go to the status page you will see the job as being assigned
