Hi
     I do take backup of database every week . But it takes too much time as first i take backup from SEP's backup program which stores the backup to backup folder in SEPM Installation directory on my hard drive then using NTBackup tool i take backup of that backup folder to my tape device. Is there any way to directly take backup of the database to tape device. Which will save my time.
 

please Connect the tape drive in physically database server and use NT backup.

I use embeded database and my server has a dat drive which uses dds3 dat. so how to take backup directly to tape
