  • 1.  How to batch import the drivers in Driver Database Management

    Posted Jan 17, 2012 04:13 AM

    Dear all,

In our company, there are more models DELL computers in used. Now we begin to use the DS 7.1 to deploy the Windows 7 system image. but i don't know how to batch import the drivers in Driver Database Management. If we import the drivers one by one. it's so slow and difficult.

You know, DELL gives enterprise custormer drivers packages to install the drivers automaticlly, Could anyone give me a solution to use the drivers packages?

    Thanks a lot.

BTW: I had present the demand on my case. (https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/how-use-dell-driver-pack-deployment-solution-71-x64-cms71-sp1), but no one gave me a solution.

    Hello,

Below you will find a link to another connect article that talks about the command line utility for driver management. With this, you can extract all of the dell drivers into one folder, and then run the command line on that folder. So this should be a big help to you, as it was for me.
