How to became a Trusted Advisor?

I thought that once you get your pie fully red you are a trusted advisor, but I see some people who is just starting or have a full red pie who are Trusted Advisor, what are the requirement for this? it depends of the posts or is something else that can be done?
Please let me know, I just want to better understand the forum.

Trusted Advisors are not
Trusted Advisors are not based on points and activity alone. The Trusted Advisors go through a nomination and selection process based on their activity on Connect. You can find out more about the program here.
