Hello....

I need to block Youtube.com site with a firewall rule on the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager without Google services are affected. I auditioned blocking * .youtube.com , but services Maps and Search were also blocked . Could someone help me ?

Just block youtube.com

When you do *.youtube.com it will block youtube in addition to any sub domains.

I tested his rule but also blocked Google Earth .

Is there any explanation?

Blocking youtube also blocked google earth? The standalone app or site? Check your traffic log where the events should be logged to. The rule should be like so:

"Google will approach the worlds of videos with the maps to allow Google Earth users to watch YouTube videos of specific locations . By leaving the YouTube video creators classify their works by location , the search giant makes Google Earth users can see which videos are associated with local visa at the time ."

Then that's why. GE is trying to access YT and it's being blocked.

You would need to create a second rule, allowing Google Earth to access youtube and move it on top of the rule to block youtube.

But did a test and now this blocking along with Youtube Google Maps site .

I gave permission Maps but it releases the Youtube together.

What to do?

Gave permission to Google Earth and the application worked .

But to block youtube.com I do not access more maps.google.com.br .

If I give permission to the maps youtube also opens .

So you know need maps access outside of google earth as well?
 

Yes, my infrastructure sector uses only the link Google Maps , while the project sector uses google earth

So you may want have two separate fw policies and apply to each one to each group.

But the group that use Google Maps will have access to Youtube ...
