You need to block by domain name.

    See here:

    Hello,

Under DNS Domain type the name of the Website type *.youtube.com. This process shouldn't block google.

Are you facing any challenge to achieve this?

It looks at domain name, regardless if same IP is used to host. What does your rule look like? Please post a screenshot here.

So, what you're saying is that when you block youtube by domain name it also blocks google?

I'm not sure why google is affected then if the rule blocks by domain name.

When you remove the rule, google works?

    Yes google works..

this is because youtube and google use same ips try nslookup in cmd DNS domain

    nslookup www.google.com

    nslookup www.youtube.com
