How can I create a webinstall package for clients so that I can link the package to a webpage from where clients can install SEP client on their machnie.

I have created a web page and used hyperlink to the setup file  but it doesn't work as nothing happens on the client when i click on the hyperlink.

The webinstall use to work

The webinstall use to work with SAV , but it has never worked for me too with SEP.
I have a link for SAV, try see if this helps( but you make necssary changes for SEP)

You are right it is for Auto

You are right it is for Auto Upgrade , Not for SAV to SEP.  When it comes to upgrading it works like a champ,

This option is greyed out on some version

This option is made available again on MR4 MP2

Can I put the setup file

Can I put the setup file which i have created in my wesite directory and from link can i start the installation.

Yes, You can put Setup.exe

Yes,
You can put Setup.exe file on www server.
Consumer will be able to download installation package thanks link to the server provided by You.
After that he will need to execute it manually.
