How about in the SEPM? I need to show to my clients that the SEPM have an update IPS.
Hi,
You can create Report
SEPM -> Report->Quick Report ->Computer Status ->Intrusion Prevention Signature Distribution
Check this thread

Hi, I'm sorry for another question but what I mean is to see the current IPS Signature OF THE SEPM, where exactly can I see it in the SEPM Server?
Thanks,
Pls see The Below link.

No,
May be you can't check in SEPM console
You can check only below URL
http://www.symantec.com/security_response/definitions.jsp

You can use the GUP content monitor as it shows the latest IPS definitions. Than compare it to the latest defs showing here:
http://www.symantec.com/security_response/definiti...
SEP Knowledge Base
Endpoint SWAT
Can't you check under: Login to SEPM---> Admin---> Server-->Local site and Show Liveupdate Downloads?
Hi,
On the home tab is status is showing "Security status Good " then nothing to worry.
However you can check on the home page but more details can be found at SEPM---> Admin---> Server-->Local site and Show Liveupdate Downloads.
& Compare with this site http://www.symantec.com/security_response/definitions.jsp
SEPM is pre configure to send notification if definitions are old.
Hello,
When looking at the SEPM, you need to check the Home Screen and the Windows definitions status which is at the Bottom Left hand corner.
Check the status of :
1) Latest from Symantec
2) Latest on Manager
Latest from Symantec shows the Date and revision of SEP virus definitions which is currently available on Symantec Server.
Latest on Manager shows the Date and revision of SEP virus definitions which is currently installed on the SEPM Manager.
Both these status should be showing the same date as we see on:
http://www.symantec.com/security_response/definitions.jsp
Hope that helps!!
