I have tried this on more than one occasion it doesn't work. Intailly the client becomes unmanged and changes back to manage.

The best that I would do , Uninstall and Reinstall.

I tried to convert managed client to unmanaged with sylinkdrop tool and sylink.xml from sep folder, but it still be managed. In Help-Troubleshooting client is "self-managed" but still is applied policies from my management server. Client is still visible on management server group but that's offline..pfff ???
