Is this for SEP 11.x or 12.1?

Here is one solution for 11.x:

How to check which SEP client is not using the GUP to download content

You can enable sylink logging as well:

How to confirm if SEP Clients are receiving LiveUpdate content from Group Update Providers (GUPs)

    Article:TECH97190  |  Created: 2009-01-03  |  Updated: 2011-08-16  |  Article URL http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH97190

You can also check the log on the client. View Logs >> Client Management >> View Logs >> System Log

There will be an entry showing the client is downloading from the GUP

    Hi

    Open the SEP client

View Logs and in System logs check for GUP Proxy here it will give the IP address of the GUP configured

    Regards
