How can I push policies onto pcAnywhere?

Hi,

I'm having trouble with clients that won't pick up their policies very fast. Sometimes it takes hour, and sometimes forever.
The Altiris Agent nicely picks up the new policies, and puts them in
c:\Program Files\Altiris\Altiris Agent\Client Policies\

However, although there are new settings in there for PCA, it takes too long to implement.

How can I force this to be picked up ?

If you are using the PCAnywhere version with NS Server

It is entirely dependent on the policy changed filter update schedule combined with the client check in schedule as specified in the targeted agent configuration settings.

You need to check the agent then

There are Altiris Agent log files (in the program files\altiris\altiris agent\logs directory), that can indicate what is going on with the client. The server also has similar logs. Even looking at the agent UI is a better indication of if a machine has checked in, and if so, when it last changed its 'status' or configuration.
