Yes that is possible. SEP 11.0 does not require license

Title: 'Does Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 require a license file?'
    Document ID: 2007120509085848
    > Web URL: http://service1.symantec.com/support/ent-security.nsf/docid/2007120509085848?Open&seg=ent

The Symantec Endpoint Protection manager is just the mangement console

So when you install the Manger and the client on one machine it is treated as one and not two.

Are you using SEP 11 or SEP 12?

You can buy a 20 User License SEP SBS.

Then you can install as many SEP Manager as you can..
So you install 2 SEP Managers on both of your servers then install the clients.
It does not matter how many SEP Managers you install to manager the clients.

Let me refrase my question. i have a server which  controls 9 client. i also have another server which managed 14 clients. and i have a 25user Endpoint protection. So if i take the 25user installation cd and install the management console on my both servers. So can i user the same license key to manage both servers and workstation?????. i dont want to use neither of the server as master nor slave. so how do i use one license to manage my network????  its the same company that owns both servers?

---SEP 11.0 does not require the license to be installed
You can install SEPM  to one site then push the clients
Then Go to second site install the SEPm there and then install clients

    Hello,

I may be wrong but SAV/SEP licencing works on a good faith basis....  If you install client above 25 clients, it would work but not good from ethical point of view...  In those situations users is suppose to increase it licence when renewal is due...or in between...

We generally by about 20% more client licenses than the workstation installation base, so that we are covered legally.   And as mentioned above SEPM will not be part of license seat.

    Sincerely,

It does not require license only if you buy SEP 11 enterprise edition ..but however since you'll go for 25 user license you would/should get SEP 12 Small business edition.

and it requires license. and yes you can manage all 25 clients ..it does not matter how manager managers you keep for that 25 user license.

Its just that you cannot install SEP on more than 25 clients.

it doesn't matter if you have 1 server for 24 clients ,1 server per 4 clients or all 25 Self Managed.
