Check your licensed features

bpminilicense -list_keys -verbose

If you see this line its licensed as a media server (SAN Client can't backup remote clients, i.e other than itself)

Feature ID = 71 Remote Client Support +

You need an OpenVision to see the truth about Backups. Restores are a plus. But that's just Semantics ;)

ITs easy :)
