This issue has been solved. See solution.

i am reading all the documents but i suppose

to not understand the CASO correctly. I am

reading that people use it when they are implementing

more than one Backup server?

When does the CASO make sense? Can someone

enumerate examples from the field (real life) for me?

That would be great.

Best regards

CASO is used when you have more than one media server and you want to centralize their control. You can create jobs on the central server and delegate them to other servers. These servers can be at a remote site.

You also need CASO when you want to share tape drives and/or dedup folders. The central server will ensure the no more than one media server is writing to the media at one time
