Hi,
No worries you can change the host-name of your server machine.
Reboot the server once you change the host-name and run the Management Server Configuration Wizard.
To run Management Server Configuration Wizard Go to Start-->All Programs-->Syamntec Endpoint Protection Manager-->Syamntec Endpoint Protection Manager Tools-->Clcik on Management Server Configuration Wizard.
Thanks In Advance.

1. Assure that your assigned MSL(Management Server List) contains the IP address of the server. If no, add the IP address with same priority in MSL. If you are using default MSL, you may need to create a new one and assign. Once all/majority of the client received new policy go to step 2
2. Change the hostname of SEPM and reboot it once.
3. Run management server configuration wizard. If you are receiving some error, use IP address instead of host name.
Note: It is advisable to take a backup once before performing this activity.
Please don't forget to mark your thread solved with whatever answer helped you : ) Thanks & Regards Aravind
Nothing Much in it.
Just change the Host name of the SEPM and reboot it and Run the Management Server Reconfigure Wizard.

Hello,
I agree. You can change the host-name of your server machine on which the Syamntec Endpoint Protection Manager is running.
Simply Reboot the server once you change the host-name and run the Management Server Configuration Wizard.
To run Management Server Configuration Wizard,
Go to Start-->All Programs-->Syamntec Endpoint Protection Manager-->Syamntec Endpoint Protection Manager Tools-->Click on Management Server Configuration Wizard.
Hope that helps!!
