  • 1.  How to change the IP of a PGP Server?

    Hey guys,

     

    I've been looking around the KB on changing IP address of our PGP Server, I cant find one that is matched for version 3.3.2MP10. Any thoughts?

    I don't think anything has changed regarding the IP change method since the 2.x series.  Anything 3.x should be correct.  Basic steps are pretty simple:
    Log in to Symantec Encryption Management Server.
    Navigate to System > Network.
    For each network interface change the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway. Ensure these are correct before clicking Save. 
    Update DNS to map your FQDN to this new IP address.

    Thanks Mike, I also contacted the Symantec Support. Which end up giving me the same answer. Althougth he send me an alternative of doing it through SSH.
