  • 1.  How to change Notification Server (Management Console) language

    Posted Sep 30, 2015 05:09 AM

    Hello,

After installing CMS 7.6 under Windows Server 2012 (English OS, Spanish keyboard) we have Management Console in Spanish instead of English.

My natural language is Spanish but I was used to have NS in English so I would like to change it.

How can I select to show NS in english?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

You need to open IE options and move "English" to the top of available languages. Then close-reopen NS console.

    Thank you,

    Alex.

Language of NS console should be selected based on selection of the default IE language. May you try to close all IE windows, delete IE browsing history and try to open console again? Is it possible to try to access NS console from different system - will you see it in English or in Spanish?

    Thank you,

    Alex.

    Hello,

Finally we've figured how to see NS in english:

    - Click on the Taskbar Clock/Date
    - Select Change date and time settings... link
    - In Date and Time tab clik on the Change date and time... button
    - Select Change calendar settings link
    - Close Customize Format window
    - In Formats tab under Region window select "English (United States)" (before I had Spanish (Spain) for dates)

After that, change from these english settings:

    Short date: M/d/yyyy
Long date: dddd, MMMM d, yyyy
    Short time: h:mm:tt
    Long time: h:mm:ss tt
    Fist day of week: Sunday

To these spanish settings (all settings related to currency, numbers, etc. will be left in english):

    Short date: dd/MM/yyyy
Long date: dddd, d' de 'MMMM' de 'yyyy
    Short time: H:mm
    Long time: H:mm:ss
    First day of week: Monday

Then we see NS in english (but with dates in english as you can see in this screenshot):

We don't know if there some other trick that allow us to let the Spanish (Spain) under the Region settings.

    Any idea?

My you check state of the checkbox (please see picture below)? If you have this checkbox selected - will situation with NS console default language change if you will unselect it?

Problem might be related to IE settings: please see post above.
