  • 1.  How to CHANGE or DESELECT "Upgrade clients with package" _GLOBALY_

    Hallo,

    I have a question about clients upgrade.

    I can "upgrade clients with package" from admin/install packages for whole tree of containers in one domain. OK.

    BUT,

    how can I _deselect_ (disable or delete) this package for _ALL_ containers later?

    OR

    how can I change settings of this upgrade (e.g. number of days for upgrade package) also for _ALL_ (or selected) containers?

    I know only two ways - delete package (not applicable with latest version) or manually delete package in _EACH_ container and subcontainer and its subcontainers... (hundreds of containers in dozen domains - yeeeah!)

    Can anyone help please?

    Thank you very much for any hint WITHOUT manual intervence into sepm database.

    unfortunately those two are the only option you have right now. as a workarround you can try to delete the package in the outbox folder so that client may not be able to download the package, but I am not sure of this option though

    You can add add/delete a package for each group you have setup. It's all a manual process though, as you've seen.

    As you mentioned those are the only available options at this point to delete packages. There isn't any quick way to delete packages in each container & sub containers.
