  • 1.  How change server name on SEP 12.1 Small Business Edition

    Hi,

    when I installed the server on the internal network and named the "SEP". Now I need use it from the outside, and his name is "sep.abc.de".
    After installing the client I have ready skylink.xml and after changing everything works OK, but until reset PC or if SEP client communication with the server. Then everything changed depending on how I generated it in SEPM.

    I think I need to change the name server to communicate with the client so that even in the new policy was the server correctly "sep.abc.de".

    Once you changed the name, you need to replace sylink on all the clients. 

    You may need to delete the sylink.bk file and replace the sylink

    Did you replace sylink after renaming?
