Select Folder where you want to create new policy.

Right click and go to New > Monitor Policy (Agentless)

Click on Blue + Sign to add new Rule.

Select Rule > Click on New, Metric

New Metric Rule > Fill out info, (Name and Descripton)

Select Category and Select a Category, You can create a new one here or use whichever one you want.

Click on Yellow *

New Metric Evaluation > Click on Select metric 

Select Metric > Click on New and then Select WMI

New WMI Metric > Fill out info,

Name, Description, Data Type (Text), Namespace:root\cimv2, Class Name: Win32_Service, Counter: State, Instance: Name="SmcService"

Select Metric > Select "The Name of Your Metric" and click OK.

New Metric Evaluation > Change Condition to “Is not equal to”, Value Type is "Constant", Value is "Running",  Click OK when finished.

New Metric Rule > Change Set severity to: Major, Click OK.

Select Rule > Select "The Name of Your Rule" and click OK.

Create a filter for the Computers you want to Monitor.

Click on Apply to, Computers

Click on Save Changes
