For 11.X there is no expiration date. It will not warn you about licenses. However you need to renew your licensing.

11.4 is the  very old version. Latest is 12.1.4 which has License file and will warn you if you exceed your license

SEP 11.x licensing is basically just a "paper" license product. However, with SEP 12.1 the licensing is a "software" license product and uses a  license file. It is important to become familiar with this license concept.

On the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager can't check expiry date if SEPM is using 11 version.

If you are not able to find the info can try to get in touch with the license department.

No,You can't received new sep version Because SEP 11 License are paper license.

Unmanaged Client SEP need to renew license?

At our office total pc is 38 but every years we renew for 67 license?

It is include unmanaged SEP?

no of licenses should be equal to no of machines why do you buy extra every year?

Actually, our main office we use SEP console manager on server and 38 client SEP.

In our branches some pc we use unmanaged client SEP because we dont have server at our branches.

If you want to some benefit for renewal license.you can renew every year actual uses no of license.

Your yearly renewal entitles you for a free version upgrade and technical assistance. Yes SEP 11.0 doesn't need a license file anymore and admittedly, you would still get live updates after the maintenance contract had expired however you will not be compliant with the licensing policies.

Bottom line is you still need to renew you maintenance contract yearly.

With SEP 11.x, you can continue using it, but you are not entitled to support, updates and upgrades after its expiry date on its paper license (the yellow paper).

Either you can have its DVD (no more CDs), or you can download the whole thing from the Symantec Fileconnect website. Do this after you have read and understood the FAQ mentioned earlier.
