How to check why Backup Scan takes many time

Starting from some week, the Weekly Full Backup takes really many time to perform Backup Scan operation. Usually it takes not so much time and I'd like to understand the reason , but I don't know other ways to check except the Symantec Backup Exec console where I see only the status. I am using 11d with all the latest patches on Windows Server 2000
Any suggestions or comments how to check more details ?

using the SGmon tool to see the activity inside BE may help see where the delays are.  Otherwise you may wish to turn that scan off.

   You can check under tools > options and preferences , You can deselect the option , use progress indicators for backup jobs . Since that needs more processing from BE .

Thanks Zaki , I checked and this setting was enabled for only weekly policy. Deselected and now is running as usual.
