    it gives me the option to delete the virus,but not the history

    to remove the risk hostory you need to delete the fiile ( log file present in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition\7.5\logs\) delete the log file which has the timestamp of the risk .
