How to clear Symantec Anti-virus risk history?

Today I opened a website link, and the auto-scan browser told me I had Bloodhound.pdf.10.  The virus removal technician worked on the computer, and told me that the virus was removed.  However, when I open Symantec Antivirus, and navigate to risk history, there still is an entry for the infection.  When I select it, and hit delete, I get a message saying that the "action cannot be taken", because either 1) the files have been moved or deleted, 2) the computer they are located on is turned off, 3) you are trying to clean files located in an email message, 4) you are trying to clean files in a compressed folder.  I am hoping that number 1 is true, because I don't think that 2, 3, or 4 are right.  There is nothing in the symantec quarantine folder, and the computer seems to be working ok.  I am just confused (and nervous) as to why there is still this entry in the risk history that I can't get rid of.  Please help.

Click on MONITORS tab, LOGS

Click on MONITORS tab, LOGS tab, locate your computer(s) and select  "Clear Infected Status".

Hope that answers you question, Jake

Unfortunately, I'm not

Unfortunately, I'm not working on a networked computer, only on my own laptop, and am just using my individual version of symantec anti-virus that is installed on my laptop.  so, I don't think there is any monitors or logs tab.  I'm still confused about how to delete the risk history.

if it fine with you browse to

if it fine with you browse to the path C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition\7.5\Logs and delete the file dated on the threat been found.

The log file are created on based on date for example 05052009.Log, if the threat detcted is on 5/5/2009 delete this file or copy this log file from that location to some other dive.

cheers
Pete
